The nature awareness game

Using a collaborative approach, your team will gain an understanding of the services provided by Nature ("ecosystem services"), the 3 pillars of Biodiversity, what is driving biodiversity loss and what risks are associated with that loss.  Based on the science of the IPBES reports and in association with the French Department for Biodiversity.

Using a card game to understand the terminology e.g. what is an ecosystem, the team of 4-7 players builds up a picture ("collage") of biodiversity, understands the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss and then engage in a discussion of what we can do as individuals and collectively to minimise biodiversity loss.

Both in the content, based on the IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform for Biordiversity and Ecosystem Services) reports and in the pedagogy, which follows a similar format to the Climate Fresk, using a process of "Head, Heart, Hands" to foster behaviour change.

Corporates, universities, governmental departments have all participated in the Biodiversity Collage.
